The new cats were quite loud, in contrary to the recently passed away Whisper. The children had named them Bobby and Romeo, not realising that Bobby in fact, was a girl. The grown up cats hadn't learnt any manners and were often found on the couch or the counter. Sophia didn't really mind though, and nor did Marko.
She also invited her neighbours, Augusta ( backerbse ) and Kiribati ( zip_itsims ) for lunch once. Although she didn't have much in common with both ladies, it had been a nice day and Sophia hoped this was a chance to get involved in the neighbourhood.
Gloria, who had the energy of three, had begged for something to play on. Her parents agreed with the idea to have a little playground for the kids. Gloria was out climbing all the time, even after dinner.
Then there came the day Sophia's somewhat unexpected pregnancy had come to an end.
She gave birth to the second boy in the family; they had named him Agustin. Gloria's distant alien genes were pretty active, as he was the third brownhaired child in the family. Alien hair, whatever colour, always turned out to be dominant.
Sophia and Marko however weren't the only ones happily in love.
Their parents always let them eat together, in the hope Gloria would pick up her brother's habits of eating properly.
The days flew by and for a while they lived their quiet - some would say a bit boring - lives of relaxing, playing and chores.
The cats were loved by the family and they liked to spoil them. Romeo loved being spoiled and eventually got the nasty habit of eating their dinner if he didn't get his own food bowl filled fast enough. Although Sophia wasn't too happy with this, she didn't have the heart to push him off the counter. She didn't want to hurt him.
The twins had become very best friends, even though they weren't both very nice. They loved to beat each other up in pillow fights.
On saturday morning, the children always got omelets. On saturday, their dad would be free from work and dad was simply the only one who could make omelets that well. Gloria still had no manners, but her parents hoped they would come with the years.
Agustin grew up that day. This wasn't the only pleasant surprise, though.
Bobby gave birth to two female kittens; Maria and Michelle.
As an older sister, Gloria took it as her job to entertain Agustin. She liked to play the elder sister; now people had to listen to her instead of her always having to listen to others.
Winter came and Gloria and Sergio, who had never seen the snow before, went excitedly outside to make their first snowman. Not much later they were called inside though, because no one should make snowmans in their pajamas.
Although Gloria was still a child, she was a girl and when she spotted the redhaired boy on their lawn checking the comic pages, she immediately asked him to play with her. He agreed.
She learnt his name was Marty (brilliantcat ) and for a while they played friendly with each other. However, Gloria wouldn't be Gloria if she wouldn't be a bit mean to him by throwing a snowball in his neck. It was his own fault for not wearing a jacket, she thought.
Surprised at first, he liked it and threw a snowball back. It was a start of a first little frienship.
It was New Year's Eve, and Gloria got him out of bed to join the celebrations.
Gloria's friend was invited as well.
Agustin had never noticed the cats running around. As soon as Bobby entered the room, she knew it had been a bad idea. Agustin immediately crawled towards her and put her in a very tight hug, something she absolutely loathed. The boy was cute, though...
Without mama's supervision Michelle and Maria explored the garden for the first time.
Finally it was time for the fireworks. Agustin was told to stay inside, because Sophia thought it would be too dangerous for him to be near the fireworks. She sighed a little. She would've loved to celebrate this with Marko as well, but he unfortunately had to work and couldn't get free, not even for something important as this.
She wasn't however going to let that ruin her mood.
Gloria was the first to notice dad came home. She abandoned the pretty fireworks only to give him a hug.
Romeo too had been caught in little Agustin's hugs, while Sophia and Marko as a young couple wished each other a wonderful new year.
However, their kiss was quickly interrupted by Sergio who had ran outside the house and screamed that the christmas tree was on fire. Marko panicked, while Sophia tried to extinguish the fire. Her husband was so smart to call the alarm number.
They luckily came on time and nobody was hurt. Gloria was relieved and ran towards Marty who was quite shaken up and badly needed a hug.
In a new year, new hobbys were discovered and Sophia found out fitness was actually quite fun to do.
Sergio grew fond of the cats and took happily care of them.
With pain in her heart, Sophia made the difficult decision to sell the bakery. With so many to take care of, she simply didn't have time and it would only cost her money. She sold it with a profit of almost 9000 simdollars and used this to pay off her debts.
She didn't stop practising her cooking skills though and the family often ate turkey for dinner - and sometimes for breakfast as well.
Gloria met a strange dog with glowing eyes. When she told her dad about it, he said she had to stay away from it. She didn't understand why, and the following days she was often found searching the internet, hoping to find out what kind of creature it was.
Maria and Michelle grew both up as well. Sophia loved the two, but also knew there was just no room for three children - who were about to grow up - and four cats. She gave them away.
Marko however complained it was too early to say goodbye to them and was sad to see them leave.
Then the big day was there. It was the twin's birthday and Gloria celebrated this with some leftover fireworks.
To their surprise, Agustin grew up as well. Because both boys were very fond of dance and music, their parents decided to buy a piano for them, something they immediately made use of.
Gloria however decided to spend her first teen day with her friend. Was it just friendship or would there be more?

I use Nilou's liners all the time and I badly needed some good eyeliner defaults. Instead of asking for them - I tried to make them myself and although my first try was a bit of a failure (completely black face aaaah XD) I got them to work! They are very very subtle because that's what I needed. You almost can't see the first one but the difference is there, really! The subtle is the first one on the swatch of her advent gift on GoS, here (check the rest of her stuff out, /fangirlmode) and less subtle is one of these.
