Interesting Things About Godzilla
I have decided to share my knowledge of Godzilla with all of you. Because I'm bored. And it is Spring Break. I'm home alone, so bear with me.
Godzilla is the longest running movie series in the world. King Kong does not count. Kong has about 4-5 movies in 70+ years. Compare that to Godzilla's 28 movies in 52 years. (Not including the wannabe)
Godzilla does not breath fire folks. It's an atomic breath. Get it right.
Godzillas size varies from movie to movie. Ranging from 100 ft. to 400 ft.
No Godzilla is not a dragon, he is a dinosaur. A radioactive dinosaur. No further explanations needed.
Godzilla is AMERICAN. You heard me right. He is American AND I can prove it. It was an American Nuclear bombs radiation that made him what he is today. The wannabe is French. French radiation will do that to ya.
King Kong should never of won that fight. If the director had actually made the movie how it should have been made King Kong would have lost. I know this sounds biased, BUT, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't King Kong 25 ft. tall? I do believe he is. So how he ever got to be 150+ ft. tall beats me. Plus I would like to see Kong fight Godzilla : Final Wars version of Godzilla. Alyson back me up on this. Who would win?
Godzilla was meant to be a stand alone film. The original Godzilla was meant to show America's military force. More proof as to way he is American.
No Godzilla does not die in every film. He has disappeared in 3 films and he has died in 3 films. Each time he dies, his son takes his place. Except for the last time he died. That was sad.
The Japanese name for Godzilla is Gojira. In Japanese this is a combination of the words "whale" and "gorilla". They got the name by making fun of one of the studio workers. Apparently he was very ugly.
Toho (Company who made Godzilla) has tried to end the series a total of seven times. The last time they did it was in 2004 with the movie Godzilla : Final Wars. One year later they said his next movie was to be out in 2013.
