It's like the sonic boom of coolness!

So... I freakin' love snow. A lot. Especially a lot of snow.

It started snowing last night and I woke up (after staying over at Caitlins house and laughing at her getting all angry while playing the new Zelda game) to about a foot of snow. Since then, its been snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing, and now there’s about 2 feet on the ground at my house (exact measurements vary between 23 inches and 24 inches, but I'll just round up 'cus it makes me cool). And.. even better... it's not supposed to stop till midday tomorrow. We COULD have upwards of 30 inches on the ground by Saturday night!

That's exciting to me, because I don't really have much else going on in my life.

There were also several interesting incidents related to the snow. Number 1, I discovered that a REALLY AWESOME piratey looking guy lives on my road. He’s so fucking awesome. He has an eye patch and everything. And what’s better, I met him because while I was out shoveling my driveway (which was stupid, because its snowed another foot since I did that... retard), which was taking for-fucking-ever to do because my driveway is... a circle.. and rather large... when all of a sudden... emerging from the blizzard... was this awesome guy on a fucking tractor... with an eye patch... and he looked SO much like a pirate it's not even funny. And he was just cruising around on a tractor. It was random as hell.

So after all that happened, my family came to the decision that being retarded and driving into town (which is quite a ways for me..) was a good idea. So we all got into my dads big ass truck and after making several attempts at just BACKING out, we finally are able to leave the driveway. And of course, the first thing that happens is the truck slides sideways into this huge snowdrift. So my brother and I had to climb out the windows (the drift was up to the freakin door handles..) and run back to the house for the shovels. So we spent the next 20 minutes trying to dig the truck out of a snowdrift/ditch thing. Eventually we succeeded, and decided that after all that effort it would be stupid not to go into town. To make this already long story a tad bit shorter, I ended up buying the 2 disc special edition of Rent!! SWEET, right? AWESOME MOVIE! (Also... there’s something mildly amusing about buying Rent. Get it? yeaeeeah...) So yeah... Now I'm getting ready to go whip myself together some ramen noodles and watch Rent. But I thought that first I would regale any interested LJ friends with my snowy tales of adventure.

Also... I wish I had pictures. But I have no camera. We're thinking about trying to drive into town AGAIN tomorrow to buy cameras. Because this is so wickedly cool, it must be documented photographically.

Now I must go watch Rent.
