I watched One More Chance with Lara, Kat and Hazel this afternoon.

If it weren't for Janus del Prado and his funny lines, it'd be a really deep and heavy drama movie. 'Yung mga lines -- sobrang tagos sa puso. If there was one thing that made the movie really good and affecting, it would be the lines. Well-written, and most importantly, makatotohanan.
Mahal kita, at ang sakit sakit na....

As for John Lloyd and Bea, hands-down ako sa kanila. They effectively conveyed and imparted strong emotions throughout the movie.
Popoy: She loved me at my worst. You had me at my best.
I just made a choice!
Popoy: And you chose to break my heart..
I liked the ending. I think that the ending was open-ended. Hindi naman sinabing naging sila ulit eh. Nor was it implied. There was this hint of consideration that maybe, they may go back together. But it's not as good as actually getting together again, after 2 years.
Then again, there's no such thing as a free lunch. I just dawned into me how masochistic and chivalrous, yet strongly human, of people to actually fall in love, despite the awareness that there would always be pain in love.
All in all, maganda siya. I'm no excellent movie critic, but I think it was a good movie because the story was real. Yeah, it was a bit over your usual drama movie, but I think it was just necessary and unpretentious. Also, it was good because kahit nakauwi na ako sa bahay at lahat, ramdam ko pa rin yung sakit na naramdaman ni John Lloyd noong una siyang isuko ni Bea.
Watch this. People really need to cry every so often. :)
