Home sweet home....
Well, I'm finally home...And for what? A messy room (I'll take of that, got a cute vacuum cleaner , now I don't have an excuse); and lovely news that we won't have 24 hour coverage of the hall anymore (DA job).
The drive back was full of events though, first we had snow blown at us from the car in front, then the car started coughing and sputtering and we were afraid that it won't make it and we'll get stranded in the middle of nowhere with no means to reach anyone...But the oil got added and antifreeze also, a guy that happened to be in the resting area (on Denali hwy)was not very helpful but at least comforting, and the little car made it...Yay, WOOT!!!
But about the weekend, it was great! Apart from the part when Kimmie's car died and her being stressed, Sasha got sick, my jeans had to get washed twice because of the nasty smell, me feeling miserable from Eve's curse (sometimes I wish she choked on that damn apple...), it was great. I got to see Megs and meet Amanda, Kathy and Sammi and a whole bunch of people. Played with Doby and Ginger, they are so adorable. Played Halo and I'm sure that if I stayed and played more I would have creamed everyone, but I seriously needed fresh air plus Kimmie was tired...We went to Outback ate some blooming onion (yum), watched movies...
It was a good break, short, but much needed
