Still alive. In the T-dot,in an internet cafe a few blocks from KP's apartment.
Saturday: arrived, went to see Masters Tennis at the Rexall Centre at York University. Great seats. Watched the semifinals: Federer vs. some dude he made mincemeat of, and a doubles match between two Indian dudes and two Canadian dudes. True to form, I rooted for the Indian dudes, which hardly ingratiated me with the crowd.
Sunday: went down to Queens Quay for the Caribana/spicy food fest/people-watching festivities. Ate dinner at a new pan-Asian place KP wanted to try.
Monday: Saw MARIA FULL OF GRACE. Was greatly disturbed.
Tuesday: Shopping (ew, I know), then to eat dim sum in Chinatown (mmmm!), then to the Art Gallery of Ontario for the Turner Whistler Monet exhibit. I hate impressionism. Hung out with KP's friends Lisa and Josh.
In sum, having a good time. Emma's court appearance is today. I'm waiting nervously by the phone to find out what happens.
