It's been over a week now, and I'm still not entirely over how awesome Heather's wedding was.
Camp was camp. I spent five hours a day for three days out on a kayak, by myself, in the rain and the cold. It was seriously 60 degrees again all week. Whatever, I had lots of beer. The first two days I literally caught one fish, and it was a little six inch perch. Finally, Thursday, my dedication paid off. I caught not one fish, but five. One of which was by far the most enjoyable fish I've ever caught in my life. A fifteen inch rainbow trout, and he put up the fight of a fish three times his size. He was breaking water every two seconds as I reeled him in. But other than the fishing highlights, it was just a pretty typical week there.
Now I'm back to work. I don't mind my job. It's something to do anyway, and I need the money. It just makes me sad to watch the beautiful days pass by while I pass the hours at work.
A. Peas will be home this weekend. I'm hoping she's home in time to come see The Hangover with Caitlin and I tomorrow night before drafts. Happily I don't work until noon on Friday, so that's a score and a half.
My life is pretty boring. Back to the normal schedule, which means the most exciting thing next to A. Peas coming home is my house in the Sims. I put Jackie O., Marilyn Monroe, Chuck Norris, and Kim Jong Il all in a house. It's hilarious. To me anyway.
