Taken is Taken!
Ha. Remember how the last time I wrote was a week or so after I got back to the States?
The thing is, not a whole lot has happened. I started subbing, which was hilarious in it's own right. My first job was in Rockey's room, and I confirmed my previous suspicion that she really does not do much in a day. It was good to catch up with Julie, who informed me that she and Rockey had finally had a full-fledged falling out, and were now at least on professional terms (which is an improvement from where they were before).
Heather's wedding is now less than a month away. I'm so stoked I can barely contain myself. But I do have to get around to writing a speech. It's not that I haven't thought about it, but actually finalizing something is kind of a challenge. I definitely want it written though, because I feel like me standing pleasantly wasted in front of a crowd of 250 without a script could potentially end in, if not disaster, some kind of scandal. Either way, I'm terribly excited.
Then right after that is camp week. Another week of sitting around in the sun, shooting guns, fishing, kayaking, and getting wasted. Even more exciting, I'm going to get a new sleeping bag so I don't freeze my ass off like I did last year.
Tonight, I had a nice chill night with Jenna. Pizza, beer, and a movie. Nice end to the week.
