Dance, Magic, Dance

Can we talk about how I went to Wal-Mart and bought Labyrinth on DVD and am watching it now? I love David Bowie. And, even in youth, Jennifer Connelly needed to pluck in-between her eyebrows. I also bought a Mr. Coffee because, Jesus, do I love coffee. It's kind of a sudden thing, but I really do need coffee to function.

What's happened the past two weeks? Nothing really. I didn't end up having to work the last two weeks of my job. I saw all my work friends at the surprise baby shower for Emily though, so that was cool. It was a little awkward while Steph was there, because she's kind of a DB, but whatever. By the end all the people we didn't really care for left, and there were six or seven of us just standing around bitching. Like old times! I found out some interesting information though, and told them the story of my work demise. They were all as outraged as I was, and all proclaimed themselves just as guilty. Sometimes it's great being validated. They told me that apparently the bosses had gone around behind my back investigating my conduct to try to find some way to bring disciplinary action against me. Good thing I was awesome at my job, because they couldn't find shit on me. Hahahahahaha fuck them.

I've applied for two jobs in Harrisburg, either of which I'd really like to land. Because moving out would be supremely awesome. My civil service exam results came back, and they're not too bad, so maybe I'll get lucky and get a job through that.

Amy Peasley's Going Away Party was a riot. She showed up 45 minutes late, already wasted, then went to mack on two different men. We saw her for fifteen minutes total. Susie, Heather, Becky, and I still had a good time though. We played some Nudey Photo Hunt, Susie and I rocked the shit out of Rock Band, and then we all went to Denny's. I drank until 6:00 a.m. and was destroyed. Good times. Peasley moved to West Virginia Saturday, and is going through her med school orientation. I miss her already.

Guess that's about it for now. The usual shit.

Quote of the day: You had better not do that to me...
