Lesson of the Week: Giving Birth Sucks
Remember how last week I was constantly covered in cat fluids? I've got a new one for you: placenta. Yep, cat placenta. Only this time I knew it was coming and was able to avoid the carnage. During my home hours I got to see the birth of two kittens, and I was pretty happy about it. We're worried the one won't make it because it was born small and seems to want to curl in on itself. The second one seemed healthy enough though. It makes me look forward to my home hours though because...kittens! I love kittens.
Ryan was proud of himself on Wednesday. He managed to sexually harass the entire office, including the department head and two BSC's. It was pretty fucking awesome. I don't remember what he said, but we shared a high five. I was really waiting for Steph to comment on work boundaries. Maybe she figured it was easier to just let it go.
Yesterday I had Chinese with Amy Peasley and Becky. Neither Becky nor I were actually hungry, but we managed to down a lot of food regardless. I don't know why I mentioned this except that it was fucking good.
Tonight I'm going out with Jared, Chris, Markus, Markus's girlfriend, and maybe Becky and Amy Peasley. They're not sure if they're going to go or not. I kind of don't want to go, but feel like I should since poor Jared has to hang out with us all the time.
Next week Liz and Dom will be here! It's seriously going to be Gay-Y-Jew (for those not in the know, we used to affectionately call NYU Gay-Y-Jew because of the overwhelming amount of homosexuals and Jewish people) except in Pennsylvania. I'm pretty excited.
