Day Off

Today I didn't have to go to work, so I decided it was time to find the floor of my room again, and actually get things that should be in my desk back into my desk. I now have a drawer for all my work papers, a drawer for my various art supplies, and of course, the computer nerd drawer. I unloaded my DVDs from a box (finally) to the shelf. I sorted through old paperwork that I'd had in my desk. The paperwork included my positive drug screen (from when I'd had my wisdom teeth out and was eating Vicodin like candy, legally via prescription), my letter of acceptance to NYU, and the copy of my application for undergraduate admission. It amused me. Those were the three things I chose to keep, despite them being useless. Next I tackled my jeans. Holy shit, am I a tub. My rule was that if I couldn't get them up over the fattest part of my ass, they were going. If I couldn't button, they went in the "someday" section. A girl can hope. Then I sorted through some of my now extensive collection of comic books.

Beginning to feel laziness set in, I tackled my progress notes. And my God, did that suck. I had no idea what to write. I was as accurate as possible while still trying to take up a decent amount of space. It was ridiculous though. I'm going to have to figure out the best way to get notes I can transfer to the official format.

That's pretty much been my day. I was pretty proud of finding a piece of my room again. Too bad there's a shit ton more to get rid of and put away.

Quote of the day: Is this for me?!
