anyways, joyous occasion for the belligerent gamer in me.
for those of you who have no idea what Mortal Kombat is, it is one of the most brutal video games of my childhood. in fact, i was terrified of it. wiki it if you so wish.
last year, they came out with this. at first, it was allegedly supposed to be a teaser of some sort for a new Mortal Kombat movie. then it turns out, that actually was the movie. it was just a short film. well, it was more of a 'pitch' that became a short film in its own right, but hey, it worked, and there was more stuff in talks, and now they've got a live-action series. i'm so excited to see more of this. don't know if anyone else shares in my excitement, but whatever.
