home sweet home...
so.... tuesday morning 6am.
i wake up cause i hear a loud noise. i listen for it and i hear some voices outside yelling "PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!!" and various stereotypical cop quotes. i tap rob, whose still asleep next to me, and say "hey wake up...someone's getting arrested." i get out of bed and look out my window. lo and behold, beneath my window a young man is facedown on the sidewalk. the cops have their guns and flash lights pointed at him. i'm like "oh geez, here they go again.." and i lie back down to try to go back to sleep because i needed to be up again soon to go to disney. i start hearing a helicopter over head and a couple minutes later i hear "DROP YOUR WEAPON!! DROP YOUR WEAPON!!". that's when i fell asleep. normally i night like that would have my adrenaline pumping...it's pretty sad when the neighborhood you live in desensitizes you to things like this.
well the next day everyone's asking me what the hell happened at summerwalk. apparently two roommates were fighting and one of them whipped out an ak-47 and shot at the other 4 times. i didn't believe it til i looked up the article online. who the hell keeps an AK-47 at their house?! and of all places it's right outside my apartment.
i'm so glad i'll be gone soon!
...in other news...i'm jealous of rob! his wealthy grandma gave him $500 for a graduation gift. i'll be lucky enough to even get a card from any of my relatives.
i can't wait to be done with school! i'm hating it so much right now! i just want a fucking job and get on with my life!
