There really never is a quiet moment around here on the West Coast, is it?
Such a pity about Aizen's unfortunate incident, I do hope they manage to find the culprit. I really don't understand how such a thing could be allowed to happen, with all of San Francisco's finest in attendance too. No one is safe anywhere anymore, but then I guess I should already have known this?
I suppose I owe some sort of an apology to any whom I inconvenienced when I didn't immediately come forward after my release from that psychopath. Time just seemed to pass by so quickly as I recuperated and I was not aware of what had happened with that unfortunate soul who was found with my wallet. Another pity. What is this world coming to, I'll never understand.

Gaara's going to stick with the story that he'd been kidnapped, which was obviously true with numerous witness on the subway to verify this. It will then deviate that he had spent a few days in the custody of the psycho before being dumped off at some random location. Using the fact that he rarely checked in with his siblings to begin with, he just hid out to recuperate until he ran into their old family friend, Akasuna-san, who has been keeping an eye on the brat these past few days.
