Sorry. I was afraid that wasn't a universal term, I should've said first-year to begin with. I do hope you're able to get back! I have a friend who had similar problems, but he's back now.

1- Oh, actually there're a couple of X-Men/Atlantis. (Mine was the first! That I've run across at least.) I know trinityofone has a fusion, and I think someone else has written one fairly recently... I'll see if I can track them down again. I'm glad my writing had such an impact though! Atlantis is my first fandom outside of anime, and it can be a little (read: a lot) intimidating because there're so many phenomenal writers here. So please, flatter away

I do have AIM! I've never used it though, because everyone here in Aus usually uses MSN messenger. Um, I'm not sure what my name for it is? But if I add you, will you be able to see me then?

I do have a full time job though, so I don't know if we'll have much time to get on together, especially with the time difference. What is the time difference? It's around 10:05 pm now, so I'll post this, and then Ill see what time American LJ says it is.

Happy belated birthday!

I've been away from lj for the past few weeks--I apologize for not replying sooner. As soon as I get something written (stupid ideas have not been coming to me lately!) I'll send it straight to you! What I've found, with my oh-so-limited beta experience, is just to respond honestly. If a sentence is wonky to you, chances are it really is wonky.

About IM, though I'd love to talk to you in real time, I think our time zones are exactly opposite. I stay up ridiculously late on the weekends, don't suppose you're inclined towards waking early?

Yeah, me and waking early on purpose, are like oil and... un-mixy things.

I usually stay up late on weekends too, don't suppose you wake up early either? ;D

And I can barely afford to go to Brisbane (the state capital) for a weekend, I doubt I could make it to the US, and then hire some nifty IT worker to track you down, just so I could stand outside your place in the rain, with a sign saying "Will pay for X-Men Fic".

It'd be funny to see though.
