Playtesting
So last night I get a call from Dan at 9:15pm asking me if I wanna go play crads to playtest some stuff at Chris' house. I say ok. We get to Chris' place at 10:30pm where the playtesting begins.
After helping Rob understand a few aspects of his deck that he could grasp his mind around I played a couple of games with my goblin deck. The first game was the most interresting. I was introduced to a new card that is from the latest set. For those of you who are not "hip" with the game terminology the card says, if you have a wizard at this battle, destroy all the goblins you can see. For those of you who are up to code on Legend of the Five Rings:

Even though Chris was packing three of these I still beat him with a well timed Broad Front to destroy his last remaining provinces. I'm glad I saw this card because now I can be prepared for it should I see it in Toronto.
My 2nd game was my goblin deck against Chris' goblin deck. We found out real quick that the outcome of that game is entirely based on who gets Omoni out first. Might as well just play without any cards in our hands because they are irrelevant.
I ended up getting home and in bed for 1am but I wasnt tired so the 3 1/2 hours of sleep I got before I had to get up for work was not of the best quality. Surprisingly I'm functioning quite well today. I suspect my body will begin to crash around 1pm this afternoon.
