Well currently my job at work is receptionist/fingerprinting expert. Really I do more work with the fingerprints but I do all of that in the main foyer so I have the recceptionist job at the same time. Our current CEO, Capt(N) Guindon, has been doing a lot of restructuring of duties by various people here at headquarters. Even though im the only fingerprinter in the corps to ever have a 100% success ratio it seems they want to hand off my job to the patrollers since command feels they dont do enough work.
So for the past little while I have been stuck on training duties. I tell you, some of the patrollers are idiots. Yes fingerprinting is a difficult job, however, I dont understand why they are having difficulties learning how to use the program to fill in the information for the people being fingerprinted. I predict that once I've completed training all their lazy asses they will do the prints for a few months, the Director of Operations is gonna be really pissed off at the amount of reject from the RCMP and the job will come back to me.
So from the time i officially hand the duties over to when I get them back im going to be a plain ordinary receptionist. For the amount of reception work that I do here at headquarters I will probably be the most overpaid employee in the corps. Not to mention quite possibly the highest paid receptionist in Ottawa...
Dan has been helping me fill my days up with stuff to do so I dont kill myself of boredom by supplying me with various Webcomics. I managed to finish off Seraph Inn in two days so I'll be looking for a new comic to read today at some point. Thx Dan!
Today I should crown it as National Gilles spends lots of money day. After work I'll be heading down to Fandom where I have a variety of things to purchase:
1 Box of Code of Bushido $150
1 Ultimate Rifts $40-$50
1 Rifter #31 $15
X Pam's Birthday Gift $60-$100
I also need to give Rusty the $60 I owe him and Keith the $20 I owe him (which I should have just given to him at Denny's the other night). Other than that there isnt much else going on.
