Blah blah blah I took a trip to Canada here are the
My friend Ellen and I took a lot of pictures of ourselves.
We were outside a lot.
That's the bridge into Quebec.
This is Montmarcy Falls. The lake was all frozen over and you could walk right up to the waterfall. People were climbing the frozen parts. It was wild.
Chateau Frontenac
Maybe if our Burger King looked like that I wouldn't have quit after 3 weeks.
A lot of kids from Jenkintown came along on the trip, too. They were a fun bunch.
Dave from Jenkintown
Craig from Jenkintown
Shane from Jenkintown
Billy Carol from Jenkintown
Mohktar and Raven from Jenkintown
Random pictures from the trip.
We were on the bus. A lot. A whole lot. We had to amuse ourselves. We spread the peace.
Then we got off the bus. And went to a church.
Then we had to get back on the bus. But someone bought a glow-in-the-dark Jesus. Naturally, we then spread the glow-in-the-dark Jesus.
We also stopped at an Ice Hotel. It was a hotel made entirely of ice. The temperature inside was a constant 20 degrees. We were in Quebec. The outside temperature was 30 degrees. I got yelled at for not dressing warmly enough. Can one ever dress warmly enough to be inside a shelter made entirely of ice? I was warm standing out in the cold. But that hotel was goddamn FREEZING.
We didn't stay in hotels during the trip. We stayed with families. Mine was really nice.
The little girl spoke entirely in french. It was probably the most adorable thing I've ever heard.
This is my favorite picture of myself ever. Everyone agrees that I look like a sheepdog.
We went out to dinner at a lot of fancy places in Quebec.
Someone pointed out that at fancy places you should keep your pinky up. So from then on out, we all kept up our pinkies.
On Superbowl Sunday we went up to a Sugar Shack. It's this cabin structure up in the woods. You eat maple syrup on everything and dance to folk music. You play wooden spoons. It was amazingly fun.
