your love is bummin me out
busy few weeks.
thankful i was able to spend a handful of days with my best friend ad take a road trip to dayton ohio for joe's wedding. had a good day/night out at camp with my family. big time cannonballs and hangin around the fire at night. chris and i made a brief stop in columbus on the way to dayton for lunch with friends. a good refresher of those great people in my life. the wedding was outside in a garden, a great service and the reception afterwards was enjoyed in the company and kyle and jenny + sean and molly. we had a good crew that night. things carried on into the night at the trolley, where hrkman stopped by for a beer. from there we drifted down the street to a late night bbq spot, and then to the hotel where we conveniently found some beers on Level R of the hotel. had a really great time surrounded by friendly, familiar faces. got to spend fathers day out at camp with my dad - just might of been my last time at that campsite.
this past weekend, all the crazy things that were going to happen this summer, happened in one night. pouring beer on a guys foot at the bar, getting thrown out of the bar, late night beach beers, late night ocean swims, singalongs, yoga session, and up til sunrise. there's a lot more in between there, this serves mostly as a post it note for my own mind.
i've been working hard at my job. i've been going to the beach. i've been drinking more than i'd like to. i've been getting so much great mail from my friends. i'v been thinking about the fall. i've been listening to more music than i have in a long time. i've been taking one day at a time. i've been smiling.
