Floaty

Last night I dreamt that I was working in a small, tatty little office building which reminded me of the place in Lowfield Heath*, where I worked for much of 2001. It was very dark and rainy outside and people with amorphic faces, who I might or might not have recognised from real life, were milling about the place. They kept switching on a portable fan, which got me very annoyed because it was cold and the breeze kept blowing away the papers I was trying to work with and there was a large, plain white helium balloon floating in the corner of the office.

Somebody decided that if they couldn't have the fan switched on, then they were determined to open a window instead, which caused rain to blow in and soak everything. Then the white balloon, as if with a mind of its own, flew out of the window and into the distance, towards a tall metal radio mast on top of a hill.

We resumed working for a few minutes but then there was a bright explosion from the tower, caused by the balloon making contact with it, which sent blue and yellow sparks flying all over the place and made the office lights fail.

That's all I remember. Any ideas...?
