Friday - I was supposed to get out of work a bit early, as is the custom before a bank holiday weekend, but the volume of shit on my desk prevented this from happening. Oh wow wish I'd known about that special screening! I still haven't seen that and it would have been cool to see Marc Caro. By the way...in case you are interested...this is a video for a song by Indochine that Marc Caro directed (and you can tell...)

I'd also love to go to Hever Castle!
oh better add, it's a pretty old video, from about 1993.

That's an amazing video! I'd not seen it before, although I'm not really that familiar with Indochine. Yes, it definitely has Marc Caro's aesthetic stamp on it :)

Sorry, I'd have mentioned this outing a bit more widely, but I was hanging on somebody else to arrange the tickets and didn't know if I had any other fans out there on my f-list. He was quite fun, although his English is patchy and he had to rely on an interpreter for some of the Q & A.

Now, I think I need to watch this Vidoq movie which I keep hearing about :)

well, not that many non-Francophones are familiar with Indochine, there's only a few weirdos like me and indochine_uk in this country who got into them through living or staying in France, really. That is probably their best video although not necessarily their best song.

Thank you! Hever's a great place for photos, very beautiful gardens and castle. It's not that far from London either... maybe best not to go on a bank holiday though, the queues were really long!
