Pointless
Well, this is a grey, dreary-looking Wednesday, is it not? I’ve moved desks again at work (quite how many times I’ve done this now, I’m not sure - this one was just another logistical move, not a change of job title) and now I have a view of Fenchurch Street station, so I can while away my days looking at milling people, pigeons and taxis. Who will next drop a Starbucks coffee cup and how many times will the door on the public toilets get jammed today?
I still haven’t heard from Southern Trains’ lost property helpline and I’m not really expecting to, to be quite honest. I lost a jacket on one of their trains about three years ago and never got any joy from them. Some opportunist cleaner’s probably kept my suit, despite the unlikelihood of it fitting him, and I can’t blame anybody for this but myself… Fucksticks. That’ll be an unplanned trip to M&S on Saturday morning then, which I hadn’t budgeted for. Is anybody else having a slightly more interesting day than mine?
