Spin cycle

I was on the train this morning and realised it's three years today since I stepped off the plane at Stansted after my stint in Germany, signalling the start of what I see as the 'modern era' in my life.

I just wrote quite a lengthy post about how my plans and my general outlook have evolved over those three years but then deleted it - it was kind of pointless, considering I've said that stuff in my journal a hundred times over since early 2004. Let's just say I've eliminated a few philosophies which weren't really working for me and have focused in on my 'core values' in life. So that's that cleared up.

In just under a month, Mary and Dave will get married and I'll begin my job at ***. In December I'll begin a short-lived (and somewhat weird) relationship with a girl in Brighton. In February I'll begin writing my first novel and move out of my parent's house and go up to live in Islington, where I'll start thinking about growing my hair again and keeping a journal.

It all makes perfect sense!!!
