Lunch Thoughts # 26

Eight days. Hmmm, I seem to be slacking off with my El Jayage. Apologies.

It's been quite a busy few days and I've not been on top form for most of it - for a number of reasons, I've been feeling very down and have been to see the doctor about it. Getting to see a counsellor is aparently a lot harder in Croydon, compared to the Borough of Lambeth - there is a waiting list of a few months, depending on the severity of the problem. My new doc's sent me to hospital this morning for further tests, as she's uncertain whether my lethargy and occasional bouts of feeling faint are depression-related, or if they might also be due to diabetes/thyroid problems, so I've sent various fluids off for analysis and will have to wait for the outcome. I did have a diabetes test about six years ago when my old college nurse wondered the same thing, although it came up negative at the time. Still, there is a history of it in the family, so you never know...

In less miserable news; I currently have three more pictures for sale on eBay. I've started writing another short story this week - it isn't finished yet, but I'm sure it will appear in my journal at some point once it is. The masked ball at Inferno was good last Friday (despite leaving at about half past one because we were so sleepy, and the fact that I chose one of those masks which you have to hold up with a stick, which began to get a bit tiresome after a while) and Covenant were - as ever - fantastic last Sunday.
