Uh, Mr. Aiken? Everyone knew already. No use wasting a People cover over it.

~+~

Even as a very different format on the DS, FFIV continues to be the game I both love and want to throttle. Almost every boss battle has at least two in a row (not to mention are difficult and unfair to boot), and I hate random battles. OH DOYC HOW I HATE RANDOM BATTLES. Challenging should not equal annoying, Square!

That said, let's talk about other stuff.

Where the heck did Namingway (or whatever he is calling himself now) go? The last I saw him was I think in Mysidia, long before fighting the Giant. Now I'm having trouble finding him. Silly minor sidequest character!

More voice comments:
+ Cid's voice is the stereotypical "cocky fat short guy" voice, but it actually suits him.
+ Golbez and Rosa continue to be a hit-or-miss.
+ I still dislike Kain's voice. I've grown used to it, but it still doesn't sit well with me. Sorry, Liam.
+ LOVE Cecil (Yuri Lowenthal!), Rydia, Edge and Yang's voices.
+ I forget what Fusoya sounded like. Silly minor party member!
+ The Archfiends are pretty good too. They're not great, but I like them.

For some reason it greatly amuses me that almost everyone's lips are a light blue.

Apparently the Augments were designed to replace the party switching system from the GBA version. Well, crap. I liked that system. :( The reason for this was because "the developers felt that this system changed the game too much." I don't think it did, unless we're talking about when it was available (before the final battle with Zeromus, FYI). I understand what they were trying to do in regards to that, but the GBA version also has a bonus dungeon after the game that only regarded character development and not plot. So really, switching party members didn't do anything to change the game, at least in my opinion.

...

Am I the only one on my FL that is playing/has played this game? I'm used to being The Only Person in the Fandom, but it still gets lonely talking about this all by myself...

ff4, lol celebrities, no shit sherlock
