I'm looking up the troopergate scandal and shaking my head at how messed up the whole situation was/is. :/
I also looked up her creationism stance, and it appears she prefers both creationism and evolution be taught in an unbiased manner in the classroom, but won't push the issue farther than her own opinions. She said this in both 2006 and 2008, so she doesn't appear to be "flip-flopping" or anything here. I give her a nod of credit there.
HOWEVER. Her stance on abortion and sex-ed is religously-biased hogwash, and word has it she is willing to use her power for the sake of that bias, even at the cost of civil rights. She was also supportive for a ban on gay marriage (she even played the "I'm not homophobic, but..." card). Not knowing her own country's history is another strike against her and McCain. McCain's nomination of her also reeks of fundie pandering. NO. JUST NO. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200. To paraphrase the immortal words of the Soup Nazi, "NO VOTE FOR YOU!"
