Wow! I actually have an online journal! I have had a journal before, but that was just a little paper one that I would write in maybe once a month, when something especially exciting happened. I stopped doing that in 7th and 8th grade, and I had better find it because there is a lot of incriminating evidence in that thing....
Anyway, this has been a wild and wacky summer. I've been trying to work 50 hours a week (and so far haven't been as successful as I had hoped). Its hard to schedule work around graduation parties, and orientations, and LA. The parties I have been too have been cool; plenty of food, plenty of friends, and plenty to do. Twice now me and some friends have gone to a field to light off fireworks: what a blast! (Pardon the pun). The last time, however, we saw a car pull into the parking lot and we tought it was a cop, so we took off running into the woods. My friends, being the truly gifted geniuses that they are, decided to light off fireworks IN THE WOODS so we could see better. All that ended up doing was making a lot of noise and ruining our night vision.
Probably the greatest experience I've had so far this summer was LA. During that 4 day, 3 night trip I got to do a lot of cool things. When there weren't specific group activities we got to play pool, and fusball, and cards, and we also got to watch some movies. I even got to take a tour of a powerplant! Probably the best part about it was that I got to meet a lot of really cool people, and there are some that I have even been able to keep in touch with through e-mail and AIM. I even met a couple of my neighbors! I'm pumped for ISU next year!
Well... that's all for now!
