at long last, I've been assasinated, which means that I can walk around this campus without constantly shooting suspicious glances at every person who passes me. I can return to a life free of paranoia and waiting outside of people's classes for them to emerge and present their asses to me on a silver platter. in a few days, I won't even talk about ( Read more... )

ASSASSINATED! I like that. I've been calling it rejection. (Because it just happened to me on friday and i've been wanting to update my livejournal about it so bad, but, alas, he reads it!) I know what you mean about it sort of being relieving: "return to a life free of paranoia and waiting outside of people's classes for them to emerge and present their asses to me on a silver platter"... we shall discuss this furthur.

oh, megan. it's amazing both how wrong and how right you are. wrong because I wasn't being euphemistic; I was actually talking about playing assassins, which is a weird yet awesome game involving "assassinating" other people by grabbing their asses. it took over my life, my thoughts, and my conversations for a week until I myself got assasinated. not without making it to the top 5, though.

but you're right because the way you read it actually makes a lot of sense. and I wasn't rejected just now, but I (we) realized that it wasn't going to work and that hurts a little bit too.

okay, that is freaking hilarious. especially the extended passage you quoted, megan.

but besides that: emily, you totally just disappeared on me last night. what's up with that? i'd love to talk some time soon. if you find any gaps in your finals week schedule please please come into the city and hang out.

best,
k-r

ross, I'm going slowly mad in this room, even though there are christmas lights inside and out. I don't think I'll be able to make it into the city and I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. after break, I hope... but finals are just too much for me these days.

Ah the end of frisbee. Too bad. But you can play when you're back in Santa Monica! When are you coming back?

And did you get the e-mail that I had sent you?

Is your assasins game school-wide? That would be pretty cool...

a) yes, we can!! I'm here for another week and a half-- getting in on the 19th.

b) yes, I did. and I didn't write you back. which you know. I will or else I'll see you when we're back home-- I realized that I couldn't make it up until next semester and somehow that turned in to way too busy to write emails. I'm sorry, there's really no excuse.

c) it's semi-school-wide. there were 80something people playing this semester, but they were not all part of one group or anything. so, breadth but not depth. and yes, it is pretty cool.

when are you going back? how's the end of the semester shaping up for you?
