Update and ranting
Yeah haven't updated in a long time again. Seems like I only ever get back to this thing when I need to vent or something but eh everyone uses it for something else. If you don't feel like hearing my rantings and how my life is going then just skip over this.
First off the news of my life. Finally got off my ass and got driving lessons started and such. I did the in class stuff and 6 of my 10 hours so far in car but then I had to put it on hold cause I got sick. (More on the sickness later)
Also been going to guidance appointments to try and find some other directions for jobs and careers since networking isn't getting me very far it seems and well I haven't really thought of other options so I've been getting help. Turns out I work well apparently in Construction, Skilled Trades, or the medical industry apparently in addition other areas to look at were engineering, computers (but we knew that one already) and it will be important for the job to have room for advancement and job security. All and all interesting stuff so now I'm doing some research in these areas from the tests to do more looking into jobs in those fields and see what looks interesting. Hopefully something will come out of this.
In other news of what I'm playing now to keep me busy when I got free time most of my time is taken up playing Burnout 3 (extreme car racing game), World of Warcraft, and on the retro trip Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. All good games that I'd recommend people trying.
Now the ranting part. As I said earlier I got sick. Started out with what seemed like a common cold and it probably was cause my brother got it and now he is better and stuff. But that was a couple of weeks ago. Lucky me I was still feeling crappy now spiking fevers and having a very sore throat. After a few days of no improvement I went to my doctor and he put me on antibiotics in case it was something like strep throat or the like. Now 5 days after being on the meds I feel a little better but not a lot so it was back to the doctor for me. (The straw the broke the camels back is coming up) After I went back my doctor took another look at my throat and I got sent off for a couple of blood tests to see if I have Mono. Yeah great news in deed. Been sick now for 2 weeks and now I've found out I could be out of doing much of anything for another month or so and even then I'll have to take it slow over the next few months. *sigh* So much for my summer.
So yah I'm bitter, upset, and down right cranky. Then again I don't think most people look too happy when they could be sick for 2 months between this and my other cold I had. Anyways there was my little rant now out of the way. Back now to my soup and probably back to bed for me. Tomorrow I get to find ot if it is mono but I'm being rather pessimistic. Until next time.
