Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I've just got back in from a day that began at 4:30am this morning, and while I might be tired after a long day, you are NOT removing this grin from my face for the longest time!

See this?

That's meeee he's smiling at! *dances*

Good grief, the two of them are the prettiest people I've ever SEEN. But to recap:

Got to the store at just past 8 this morning and there was nobody there! - found the queue in a side alley which was already huge, and made it to 229 in the line, and then met up with magicallaw and londonbeauty (who has a number after her name so I don't remember precisely how to link it atm). We all three got in! Looks like they let in 300, though, not the 250 they mentioned initially - but after giving us all wristbands (with 'Doctor Who' on) we were free to go until 12:30pm, when we had to rejoin the line.

They got us all inside then when we came back, while we hung around for an hour inside looking at costumes (I counted two Tenth Doctors, an awesome Captain Jack and a little girl dressed as Martha), and at 1:30pm they stopped the regular music and started playing the new series 3 soundtrack. And out they came!

They both posed for pictures for a nice long time together, and there was a lovely cheer for them when they came out - particularly loved David standing with his arm draped over the Dalek they had on stage - and then sat down to sign.

I loved seeing them signing for the kiddies. They hoisted a couple onto their table to have their pictures taken together, and obviously loved meeting them. Freema completely squealed when she saw the man dressed as Captain Jack, too - you could hear her "what an amazing outfit!" from all the way across the store! But they couldn't have been lovelier, prettier or more friendly and welcoming, they really couldn't.

When we finally made it to the head of the queue (and one man a few people ahead of us was pulled off the stage by security for being too freaky), I remember distinctly looking at David and thinking 'good grief you're gorgeous', then suddenly his attention was on me and I'm surprised I kept a hold of my faculties! He basically just said hi, how was I and what was my name, 'cause he was writing the names on the box sets then, and I just about managed to tell him before blurting out a request for a picture, which he was really lovely about, though the security guard was laughing at me ... told me to stop shaking, which I pretty much said I'd like to, but couldn't - and I was quivering like a damn leaf. In the time it took for me to take the picture, Freema had signed my box set - and here's the only thing I'm even the tiniest bit disappointed about: I didn't get to tell her how awesome I thought she was. I guess she thought the ladies would probably all have been there for David, and her attention was on the next in line - but she was utterly gorgeous and smily and it was enough to have gotten that close, and to be knocked out by David's megawatt grin.

I had the best time and I'm not coming down off this cloud for AGES.

freema agyeman, squee, awesome, david tennant
