Hick in the City

So I'm out of school now. :D But I already have homework in AP English and Government. -_-; So wrong, so wrong...
Anyway, I suppose I should mention our vacation this year. My parents, two of my aunts, and I are going to New York City. *dances* I've never been anywhere, really. All of our vacations so far (which aren't many) have been in Virginia. And while Chincoteague is nice, it kind of sucks to go to an even smaller place. Not to mention this will also be my first time on a plane. I need to find out what you can and can't bring on one though...I keep forgetting. ^^; All I know is I can't bring drug-resistant tuberculosis. And I can't live without that. XD
But you know what sucks? What utterly, undeniably sucks? You have to be 18 to attend a taping of The Colbert Report. I will be two months too young. Two !@#$^& months. *headdeskx1000*
Moving on. At Pam's request we'll be going to a Yankees game. Don't jump on me about it, I don't have a dog in the fight. ^^; My mom picked out the show we're going to see, Old Acquaintances. It's supposed to be a comedy. And I hope I'll get to go to Kinokuniya. *-*
So anyway, that's coming up at the end of the month. But first, we're all going to visit Charlotte this weekend. This spring she moved from Atlanta to northern Virginia. Actually, that's back to northern Virginia. She lived there for a while, then moved to Winston-Salem, NC, then moved to Atlanta, and now she's back again. ^^; It's all with her job, but I don't think she lived in Atlanta for even two years. I was so young I can't remember the last time we visisted her. She was either in Tazewell or Bristol then.
After over a month, I have finally finished The Magic Mountain. *celebrates*
