See, the thing about my shortcuts is...

Narrative:
- Trying to find my way home this morning, I told Denise to head up Crest so as to meet up with willamette a little farther up, avoiding a turnaround on a busy street. Now theoretically there is a turn up there to take that will do the trick... when we missed it, due to my expert directions, I figured we'd just find another turn up ahead...15 minutes later Denise was mocking me for wanting to turn around at the 5 minute mark because we has obviously found our way onto Macbeth, which we thought might get us here. Half an hour after that neither of us know which way the city was, nor whether it was Llama's cows or horses who gave the best directions. The Country side, picturesque on many days is really just unsettling when its trying to compete with the steady golden glow of the Fuel reserve light and the movie "wrong turn" for attention... finally, after running into the absolute end of fox hollow, cruising about on loraine, and a damn lucky guess or two, we made it, having taken an hour to complete a five minute trip. -

It really is all the random shit that makes life fun.

I realize how few playlists I make anymore... I either listen to entire albums or put on a mixtape. I probably spent a minimum of three hours a day listening to some form of music... I was actualy shocked to realize the that isn't something everyone does. I need to listen to something a bit less electronic, which I think is a damn fine excuse to go sip my tea and toss together a mix. some Kinks, a touch of Azure Ray, some old Jonny Cash, Dan Bern, staying with the acoustic side of things... we'll see how it goes.
