What a lazy and solidly Jewish celebration of Christmas today was. I woke up and we had brunch with my extended family on my father's side. Good ol' bagels, creamcheese, lox, eggs, and UpperCrust. Afterwards I dropped my grandmother off at her place and then delivered some stuff to the house of one of my parents' friends. Then I came home and took a solid three hour nap, and woke up to find the sun setting. I had dinner, which was a reprise of brunch, and then watched a bit of The Return of the King. Later on I had some friends over for Taboo, silly internet activities, and good conversation. My sister has fallen asleep on the downstairs couch and I am upstairs chatting online and drinking fresh, hot cider. All in all, a good nothing day.
Last night was fun too, Jonathan came over and we sat in the hot-tub for some two hours--very nice. We talked about all sorts of stuff; ships, and sails, and sealing wax--of cabbages and kings.
