I think I just pwned the n00bs who misrepresent raw data and then insinuate that the those unlucky rich pay a disproportionately huge percentage of the income taxes.
The cost of living [poverty level] is somewhat like the Cost of Goods Sold, no right minded businessman cares about gross sales, unless that businessman is acting like they're paying too much to the IRS compared to the poor.

I sell a shirt for $10, it cost me $5 to make.
Richy McRichrich sells a shirt for $50, it cost $5 to make.
Richy will claim he has only 5 times as much money as me, even though I would actually have $5 and Rich would have $45 [5 x 5 does not equal 45 btw].
