I slept in Crookston on Saturday, Minneapolis on Sunday, Chicago last night & Arlington tonight.
Cleaned out my old room at my mom's farm house, which they are selling in the spring. It was extremely difficult to sort through everything without disappearing into the hundreds of letters and thousands of photographs, covering about 1988 to 2006. Stacks of zines, comics, and drawings made by my friends. I've completely lost contact with so many people, even in the f-book age. It's left these brilliantly colored bands in my past, sunken ships from which I'm the only survivor. Evidence in the words of lost friends of how emotionally intense some of these experiences were. I've forgotten so much. The photos and letters are the closest thing proof that that I didn't just dream it all.
