Feeling a mix of emotions right now. On the one hand, I just found this awesome book entitled Puzzles and Paradoxes in Economics by Mark Skousen and Kenna C. Taylor, both of Rollins College, and I think I'm going to work on my WPM by typing out the text for the next two weeks.
On another hand, it is disgustingly muggy outside (but not half as bad as NJ and Europe, from what I've been hearing).
On a third hand (if I had one), it's his birthday tomorrow.
I wish I could be in Holmdel tomorrow. I had planned on visiting you on your birthday, but I can't. Sure, I'll send a birthday prayer or two, but it's not the same. Oh well, I'm promising you some flowers as soon as I get back; hope that's okay? I'm sure you already know that I had planned to go offroading on a pizza box with you tomorrow, and of course, it's always the thought that counts. Just wished I could've held onto your hand a little firmer, a little tighter, and somehow, in some way, tied you down to this world for a little while longer. It's kinda hard to believe that you and Steve now have a scholarship in your name. Don't try to fool me: I KNOW how much (little?) work y'all did.
*sigh*
Tyler left for Alaska yesterday or the day before. Some famiy cruise thing. So I won't see him for at least a week. Pooie. And I was anticipating a discount on my racquets. Haha, okay, I admit it, that's not the only reason why I said, "Pooie."
Onto the subject of people-I-know (rf. Choie's speech pattern)...
Stayed awake for two, no, three hours last night thinking about all the loose ends I have to tie into neat little knots. Really, really want to chill with Steve. Haven't even known him for that long, but everyone knows that summer is the time for flings. o_O Sure...
And that, of course, led me to think about Spencer's offer of a "private" pool party. Should be interesting. And that got me thinking about my govvies and that beach party that had BETTER BE HAPPENING. Grahr. >_<
I miss everyone. Can you believe that OH-SIX is heading out in less than six weeks?
*sigh*
I've also started plotting out a (hopefully) decent Ouran High School Host Club fanfiction. Lisa was complaining about the dearth of decent OHSHC ficcies, so this might help. Maybe.
Alright, I think I'll get back to improving my WPM.
