I’m back from all my holidays! It was great seeing everyone in Spoons last night. Don’t forget, if you need your wedding planned, Sarai and I are the ones to do it!
My Spanish holiday with eight of my closest friends was fantastic. Some of the highlights were playing volleyball with a French family at midnight on the beach with the police as supporters, judging the Mr. Hotel competition, telling a touring football team that they were all greasy mingers, Wiggi getting drunk on one cocktail and then dancing on a podium, Nic getting pushed into the pool fully clothed by a 10 year old Welsh boy called Callum, finding out that two men who Wiggi, Caz and I kept bumping into weren’t actually interested in us and were gay (and also from Sidcup).
My Eastbourne holiday was a laugh. Some of the few things that happened:-
1. Georgina fell flat on her arse while saying ‘oh look those boys are looking at us’.
2. Josie (George’s sister) told a 17 year old pikey that he could play with her but not in the naughty way.
3. Georgina and I got invited to go into a gay bar.
4. Jen got approached by the same guy in every nightclub we went to.
5. I screamed in a man’s face when he asked me to dance.
6. Jen, George and I managed to loose the 16 year olds (Josie and her friend Laura) in a department store (turns out they were trying on bras).
7. George got sunburn in a space of 5 minutes
8. Josie got sunburn on her eye lids
9. George locked me the rubbish hut
10. It took us an hour to complete a game of pool.
11. I managed to navigate Jen and I home only by using an ‘Ordinance Survey map of Eastbourne, Hastings and the surrounding area’ I was quite impressed. We passed many hamlets, one called Robertsbridge. I want to live there. The Natwest bank is in an old house with oak beams and a thatched roof. Idyllic.
On Monday my German dudutte, Lea, comes to stay with me for a whole week. Any ideas where I can take her? Please feel free to come out with us. She is a top girl.
Also please think of me when I have my job interview on Monday at ten o’clock.
