I went out with Kelly last night. We were supposed to go sing karaoke, but once again, it didn't happen. The location was in the heart of the ghetto... it was pretty hilarious, and scary. We didn't even go in, but we did drive around the slums of winnipeg for fun (with our doors locked... we had fun) Then we went back to her place (ooooh.) and watched this crazy movie called "Hard Candy". You guys should watch it, it's a really strange, but excellent indie film. I'm supposed to go out for Chelsea's bday tonight, but I think I'm going to pass... it's at Tijuana's (ugh.) and I'm really tired. Although I might go to Rum Jungle if I feel up to it. I have a lot of assignments and midterms coming up soon, and I'm getting anxious about them.
I went in to Steinbach today to get my teeth cleaned, and afterwards, my mom and I went for chinese food. Well, while we're sitting there right next to the window, I see a guy rear end our parked car. He put it in reverse and got out of his car, then he came into the restaurant where we're eating and ordered his food. So my mom went out to assess the damage. When she came back in, she told the guy "You just hit my car" and he said "I didn't even come close to your car"... I was pissed off. What a fucken liar. I have such little faith in people. So we went outside, took down his license plate number, and made a police report. HELL YEAH SHITTY OLD MEN STEINBACH DRIVERS. Just needed to get that off my chest.
Oh, has anyone seen or heard those "Be Undrunk" commercials? ...You have a right to be infuriated. I want to know who to contact about those... Total assholes. Pretty soon they're going to be making "Never leave your house" commercials for women... better yet, maybe they'll start telling us what not to wear... wouldn't want to do anything to provoke perfectly good men.
