There are a few folks at work that I personally can't stand. Objectively they are all nice, good people but their personalities are nails on a chalkboard to me. When I'm talking to them all that I'm thinking is "how can I make this conversation stop?"

Does anyone else know people at work like this? How do you deal with them?

Oh, good GOD, this girl at work is so irritating to me that she inspires deeply-buried elementary-school bully tendencies in me. I want to shove her head in the toilet and flush, slap KICK ME signs on her, have a friend get on his hands and knees behind her while I push and watch her tumble. Thing is, she's a nice, decent person. But she's the most gigantic dork I've ever met. Maybe the bully-impulse I get from being around her is because while she is nice, she's completely submissive and compliant in every possible way. I wondered if she got beat up in school, but later found out that she went to a charter school or a magnet school or something. Makes sense, because she never would have survived a public school
