Comming upon the end of my Christmas break. I am ready to go back home.
My phone's been kinda wierd here, because mom lives out in the boonies. Signal sucks, and I haven't had a single day go by when my phone hasn't dropped a call.
Usualy with Amanda. Which really sucks, because talking to her is the awesome.
Mom found out last night that she won a trip to Aruba. She doesn't know when she's going and what the details are, but she's obviously super psyched about it.
Today, I have seen no one. I'm spending the day geting some things done, making sure things are in place and ready for me to go when school starts, sending out some letters, finishing up some reading, and putting some finishing touches on my ideas for the leadership meeting this Friday.
Josh left yesterday. He's off for training and briefing, and then he's headed to Iraq in February.
It sucks. Whenever I'm here for summer break, Josh will be out in the desert somewhere on the other side of the ocean.
Tomorrow is the six and a half hour trip back home. Thursday is set aside for me and Amanda, because quite frankly, phone conversations which get dropped every night just don't do it for me as well as seeing her face.
Fiday and saturday are leadership meetings. I'm a little nervous, because I've got a lot more responsability this year than last year. I know I can handle it, though, with a little help. I've got some good ideas, some silly ideas, and a lot of want for this year to be a success with X-Men and Adoption.
Sunday is church. Monday is school.
If things go according to plan, then this may be the first time in a LONG time that my loans are all in place and I can go to class on the first day. And if such is not the case, then I've set it up so that there's no way I'll be scheduling late next semester. This piddle duckin' around doesn't seem to work, so I'm trying something new.
I gotta go now. I have to run around Beebe and deliver a few information packets.
Hope every one's vacation was awesome!
