it's strange. we feel partly responsible for having got so caught up in life and going back to college and getting married to another multiple group that somehow, it must be our fault that things got stalled and lost and blahblah because we lurked-out just a year or less after becoming mods on multiplicity comm(i don't even know, at this moment if it still exists and that is surreal to me 0_o)

we'd considered suggesting it be moved to it's own community forum rather than stuck by itself on LJ since this platform seemed to be languishing. but we never told anyone about that idea i don't think. and ironically on the day that i come back to lj for the first time in... 8 months? here's all this stuff about the community being lost and repeating itself.

meh, i know our group has deep-seeded guilt-issues but the timing of our own decisions never seems to help.

anyway, hi, this post was really informative and interesting.
i think from some of the things i've studied that this sort of thing is common in activist communities and it has to do with what the community learns to value within itself. posts like these actually help.

if multiplicity is still up and running(and active?) i'm wondering if this has been cross-posted there?
