So.. our recordings came out pretty awesome. We played the new songs live for the first time on Saturday @ Brenner's Brew, which was an amazing fucking show mind you. We had like 40-45 kids that came out to see us alone and a mosh broke out! lol, that doesnt seem like much.. but its Brenner's Brew.. which is a coffee house.. and there's like NO room at all..and all these people were jammed pack in there, and a mosh broke out.. it was sweet cuz i climbed over like two kids to get ON TOP of it, still performing in the pit. Haha, sounds stupid but its something i've always wanted to experience. Now we just need to play a show where i put the mic out and people recite words to my song. Thats my next goal!
Things are looking up. We're averaging like 600plays a day on the myspace which is sweet.. and we just got an awesome show offer @ The Stoney Poney. We'll be playing with Shai Hallud, One Dead Three Wounded, Dead to Fall, and Twelve Tribes. Not sure if any of you guys are familiar with these bands, but they're all signed and 3 of them have awesome followings. Not only that, but if we do well, we'll be playing on the Saints & Sinners stage soon to come.. fuck yes.
Life is the same shit, lol. I'm off from work all week which is awesome. Didnt have any arrangments to go anywhere, so i'm going to try to stay as active as possible.. rather than spending the entire week on myspace like i pretty much am assuming i will be. haha. The bands look for a bassist.. but its funny, cuz we just lost our bassist last week and already we have 3 kids wanting to try out. Its really starting to look up.
I'm psyched as hell.. and will be posting again later.
