hope y'all don't mind me making a tag for these

[Good morning, VDR! Today's breakfast is a light one; a variety of breakfast teas with sugar cubes and fruits. And a teeny tiny Rin and Len running around on the pink tea table to assist, if for some reason you need teeny tiny assistance, like putting an orange slice the size of their body on the side of your cup or holding up a sugar cube with ( Read more... )

[Don't ask why he's here, looking out of place while sitting at a pink table, watching the tiny little Len and Rin dash around to serve him tea in a pink teacup. He'll never admit that he's somewhat amused by them, and that he purposely asked for two sugar cubes just to see if they could carry it around. They were like little mice, scurrying around to accomplish tasks.

He idly wondered how they'd do in a maze.]

[of course they can carry the cubes! But only one at a time.

There are more than enough sugar cubes with which to form a maze, provided you can find the means to stick them together.]

[Well, that would be so much effort into such a silly thing-- okay yeah, he's doing it. He's not really sticking all of them together, though. (That'd be too many and a waste of his tea.) Just forming a simple square with two dead ends and a path leading to his slice of orange.]

[The Len is like WHAT IS THIS SORCERY??

The Rin kicks a wall.]

[The giant KaITO discreetly (if it's even possible) nudges the wall back into place. They could always climb over or push aside cubes, he realizes, but he doesn't mind if that's the solution they choose. He's just observing their behavior.]

[Of course discreet isn't possible. Rin makes a (`A´) face at KaITO!!

Len starts licking a cube for great freedom. Rin hits him.]

[He shrugs at her, smirking. There's no malicious intent, really. He's just playing around.

...at the expense of others, yes, but that's beside the point.]

[Len is crying. It's all your fault. Sort of.]

[Aw, what? It's totally Rin's fault! He leans over to get a better look. It's no fun if a subject starts crying. If this continues, he might just cancel the mini-test.

Or just leave Rin there, one of the two.]

[noticing the reaction, Rin cries too.]

[This was not what he was expecting. Now both of them were too emotional to complete his little test. There was nothing to cry about, seriously. Just because he was putting them through a small challenge.

He hesitates before sighing and putting away the sugar cube maze. It's only because he doesn't want to bother with it anymore. (It has nothing to do with the sudden image his mind provided -- his own twin siblings, weeping while stuck in a test. Nothing to do with that.)

He'll even give them his orange when he's done putting it all away. Here, have it.]

[the tears reduce to sniffles as the maze is brought down, but the offer of an orange (of their very own!!) seems to gradually placate them.

Soon they're sharing it happily.]

[That's that. He'll just start idly sipping at his tea, no longer interested in bothering the mini twins.]
