[well, a hug is actually a good thing for him right now. It ought to block out some of the sensations that are bothering him and will allow him to focus.

[Well, Haku is making sure to keep the hug slightly less... booby than she usually gives. Comfort hugs are only as good as the person giving them, and suffocation is not conducive to helping.]

[in that case, it IS comforting. Darker and quieter, although ... admittedly the sense of touch is all over and the smell is stronger.

Actually it's probably a lot stronger since I'd expect Haku to smell like booze. But hey, drowning effects were the point.]
