Hi everyone! New face here. Or, well, tehcnically I've been a member for quite a while, but I never went anywhere with it. Didn't even lurk.

BUT! I'm here now because I recently fell in love all over again with Vocaloid as I was reorganizing my iTunes a while back. And now I'd like some friends ;_; to talk about Vocaloid stuff.

I have my own playlists to organize it... Usually by genres and all that.

Hahaha~ I love how you're so casual about ~400 songs not being very much, while mizu_kanon above seems to think their ~50 is quie the number. Not judging anyone, just found it amusing how differently people view these things.

I haven't had enough to need playlists yet, really. I'm still only around ~200 songs. But as of right now now ~45 of those are three Len albums I haven't even touched yet. I guess I'll have to listen through them one by one instead of just shuffling everything, or I'll never rememeber who made what and for which album. And C81 is coming up too... Though I dunno what the usual album turnout is for Vocaloid on an average winter Comiket.

LOL I've been a 1 year Voca-fan, so... I guess I have a lot... Though I think, for a year, I think should have more than 400... :(

The only album I've ever bought is Shigotoshite-P's FILL e TUA XP I spend my money more on Vocaloid artbooks than albums, sometimes they're a bit hard to get, but there are lots of Voca-artbooks in a bookstore near me.... XP

I already have my eyes on 96Neko and Len's album Asymmetry on January 8th. :3

It depends on how into it one is, I guess. I've been a "fan" for years but all I ever did was listen to the same ~70 hits ripped from YT. Only in the past few weeks have I started downloading albums, and I'm soon at 200 songs. I'm catching up!

I need to memorize more producers... Though I guess I can cut myself some slack since I haven't been serious for very long yet. I may or may not know who ShigotoshiteP is, but I can't read kanji very well yet. I just know there's one producer in my iTunes called [kanji][kanji]してP. And I sure hope I didn't mess up the kana there, I'm on an old laptop which displays every non-roman letter as a square.

Oh yeah, the YT rip offs... I guess it's around... 7 months then XP
Though my music list isn't very.... Balanced. According to my iPod, I have around... 2 songs from Miku, 3 from Luka, 100 or so from Meiko and Kaito combined, and... 300 from Rin and Len. Approximately?

I know and memorize... A hundred by the least 'cause I write their names up in the composers... Thingie in my iPod. XP

I changed my laptop's system local to Japanese, still, sometimes Google Chrome can't read certain words... :|

I'm working on getting them all down in the composers tab too.

I think I'll be downloading a lot based on producer rather than Vocaloid. Can't judge before I listen. I'm not too fond of Miku, but I still think Unhappy Refrain is amazing, for example. I'm always looking for more Gakupo though. It's hard to find songs where he's used well. x_X

If it's a matter of Gakupo, I listen to him sometimes. Suzuki-P handles him well (Maybe you've heard of Luka's 'Witch' or 'Rhapsody of Loup-Garous') and maya (Maybe you've heard of 'Lilyzm Gold', or the Color Chronicle series) and of course there's Natsu-P with Imitation Black.

Most Gakupo songs I have are rock songs... Awesome ones, really. Classical and folk are my favorite genres >o

I've got VanaN'Ice by NatsuP, and it's actually my favourite album ever. You may read that as "it's the only album where I really like every single song so far". I've loved the Imitation Black batch of songs ever since they popped up on YT in... early 2010? Late 2009? But I haven't heard about those other ones at all, so now I'm over the moon! Music recommendations! Something to go by! Thanks a lot, I'll make sure to check those out. Are they originally in romaji though? If not, could you post them in kanji/kana? It'll be easier to search for them that way, I imagine.

And I am horrible with genres, so I'm not even going to try naming some. I know nothing! I'm even bad at listening to music; if I listen to an untagged song I can be unsure of who's doing vocals for weeks. I still mix up Miku/Rin, Kaito/Meiko and Len/Luka. I don't even know how. orz

Yeah... It's epic. 'The Lost Memory' is my favorite track so far by them ('cause I listen to Imitation Black too many times I'm bored of it now LOL)

I've yet to download that other album... hmm... BLur Rose was it? Or something to that effect. It was high on my list of priorities until SUDDENLY, COMIKET and now I've got so much new vocaloid and touhou... x_X

I downloaded an album すずきP the other day though; Camuiz. Thanks for recommending, it's lovely. I'll be sure to check out the rest once I've worked my way throughthe C81 batch.
