The sweetest thing
My wordpress is a bit cranky now. I shall monitor it for another day before asking Singtel about it or wordpress for an explanation (their feedback column is not available now).
"The Sweetest Thing" by U2 was stuck in my head for quite a while. It's still stuck in my head...
"Love's the sweetest thing," Bono sang.
It's a great song with a lovely tune... when I first heard it, I was snapping my figures and humming along to the melody. He wrote this song when he forgot his wedding anniversary or his wife's birthday, so this was actually a "I-seek-your-forgiveness" song.
Surprising, I thought it was a dedication to his wife for his anniversary, so it's a "I'm sorry" thing... Tells us a lot about men: why do disaster recovery when they could have remembered it?
It's pretty funny.
Lest I get accused of being a hardcore feminist, I shall stop the musings about men.
You know, oh well, never mind...
I would like to sing this to my little Frisbee, though somehow, I wished he would sing it to me because he's a blue eyed boy who met a brown eyed girl - me!
Frisbee, my buddy ever since... 6 years ago! I love my little doggy.
