Well I just got back from a wonderful vacation with my momma in PA. It was nice, relaxing and well deserved. The whole time I was up there I wanted it to snow and finally, as my vacation was nearing an end, it snowed the last 3 days. The best part about it is the snow followed me from my moms back to north carolina. So at least I get snow in the winter, i'm pleased with that. I did a lot of cool stuff while I was up at my moms. I went to the theatre to see, "The Importance of Being Earnest". I already wrote about that. I also went to the Carneige Museum. I'm not sure if I spelled that right. That museum was awesome! A lot of really cool art pieces. They also have what's called the architectual hall which holds plaster casts of some of the greatest buildings of all time. Mostly cathedral stuff from Greece but let me tell you, it's frickin' amazing. All the casts are actual size and it is one of 4 halls in the world. It was so awesome to see some of that stuff. It makes me want to go to Greece to stand in front of the real thing. I also got lost in Pittsburgh while I was visiting. I was trying to drive to circuit city off US 19, but got lost thanks to my directions *cough* *cough*. It was cool though. Driving around in Pittsburgh is crazy but fun. I watched the superbowl with my aunt out in Slippery Rock. I won $150 in a pool, nice bonus. My uncle unfortunately couldn't watch it at home with us because he had to work. He is a freelancer (cameraman) and ESPN needed him to shoot some stuff for the game. Awesome opportunity, but sucks it had to be during the superbowl. Morning after the game, was going to leave my aunts to go back to my moms and got stuck in the snow before I ever got out of the driveway. Now my aunts driveway isn't the typical one, she lives in a log cabin in the woods so her driveway is a little over a quarter mile and it's made from rock not pavement. I got to the end of her driveway when I got stuck, so we had to walk all the way back to the garage to get some ash and a shovel so we could cover up the snow to provide traction to get out. We succeeded! Hooray! Then I went back to my moms and was a couch potato the last two days. I think it was a great trip. Next trip will be to come back to fla.! I can't wait.
