Oh and the place for music in London is Picadilly Circus. It's London's version of Times Square.

Just words of advice:

Always carry with you money in separate pockets.

Carry your hotel's phone number and address in two places on your person, I put it on my money clip and in my wallet, which I then separated into two pockets.

ALWAYS carry your passport. Make copies of your passport to stick in your luggage.

I never use passport holders or money belts, etc. They break easily and I just don't feel comfortable, physically or mentally, wearing them to "protect" my money/passport.

Never put anything in your butt-pockets. Always put them in your front. I always keep my hands in my pockets when in tight places, such as the Underground or in queues(their word for lines).

MAKE SURE to look BOTH WAYS, CONSTANTLY when crossing the roads. I cannot tell you how many tourists get hurt or killed crossing the roads in the UK. It's hard to learn, and I still have a little trouble adjusting back to the US way of how to cross a road so I look both ways now until I figure out which way vehicles are coming from. We don't want a dead Niko! :(

Don't tip in restaurants or bars. They're not expecting it, it is included in the bill supposedly. If you want, you can tip. But sometimes it is deemed impolite to tip, in bars and pubs.

Use a credit card! The exchange rate is better! It still isn't stellar given the exchange at this time, but it makes more money sense than using cash for everything. I did not use travellers checks or anything of the sort. Good old cash and plastic works fine in London. Shop around for good rates if you know what you're looking for. I exchanged $200 in american money in Pittsburgh for british money, since the rate was better, especially with a AAA discount. In the UK "Bureau de Change" is the name of the places to change money.

They have internet cafes everywhere. You can utilize them inexpensively, or expensively. Near my hotel there were several dive-like cafe's but they were very affordable. I never used them, instead I used some bitch's laptop that connected to the internet. She was being an asshole towards the end of our trip, so excuse my french.

If I think of anything more I'll let you know.
