INKED.. again. + pictures.
so.. sarah and i have both wanted tattoos for awhile.. her first, my second. and i had said something about doing it tonight, and she said she didnt know if she'd feel up to it, cos we got pierced yesterday, and it was her tongue.. so ya know. but today she said she wanted to, so we went to Standard Ink downtown, and the rest is pretty much history. she got a tribal heart thing on her back that looks really awesome. and i got a butterfly and the kanji symbol for to fly on my shin. mainly because i've always considered myself a free spirit, and i've always been able to pick myself back up and fly after i've been knocked down.
i know alot of people are thinking that i'm doin' the things i'm doing because "its a college thing", but its really not. i've always wanted tattoos and always wanted to get the things pierced i have pierced now. and my dad told me once i was out of the house, i could do what i wanted, when i wanted. and thats exactly what i'm doin. alot of people say its a rebellion thing. if it was a rebellion thing, i'd been pierced and tattooed when i a)still lived under my parents roof and b) i was younger than 18.. i have my connections. so just to clairfy that for anyone that may be thinkin' those things.
and the guy that tattooed us, Skip, is freakin' awesome. and i highly recommend if anyone in the chattanooga area is lookin' to get inked, go to Standard Ink and talk to Skip. i'm already lookin' to get my third done on my shoulder. :D
