Graduation woes
So I need to vent to myself. A mix up with my internship supervisor and my teacher left my grade incomplete at the time of graduation. Story short: completed my internship a month early and gave my supervisor the necessary paperwork to be completed and sent to my teacher, and turned in my own paperwork to my teacher well within the deadline, but supervisor forgot. This led to a delay on getting my diploma. Through a convoluted email exchange dealing with incorrect email addresses, I got everything cleared up and all the necessary paperwork turned in to my teacher but my grade two weeks later is still unchanged.
Having received an e-mail last week telling me and the rest of my class that the records dept was mixing up letter grade classification with completion grades, and to wait until the end of this week to see if things change I waited like I was told.
Having checked repeatedly throughout the week and again today, I contacted my teacher, as instructed by that teacher, today and received an automated email telling me that the teacher will not be available until next week delaying my diploma, graduate program application, and job opportunities again.
